Six Lot Environmentally Sensitive subdivision. Croft Surveying and Mapping was involved in Council negotiations and implementation to establish building envelopes, tree preservation and covenants for the site to reflect the environmentally sensitive elements of the site.

Croft Surveying and Mapping is able to assist in the establishment of “on-farm” family cemeteries, providing ongoing access to future generations, even if the farm is sold. This includes relevant negotiations with Council and Land Registry Services to best represent the family’s wishes.
Croft Surveying and Mapping has been involved on numerous residential houses, units and commercial buildings around the region including Aldi Store construction ARMIDALE, and multi storey boarding house at The Armidale School. Accurate measurements are required inside and outside buildings -on different storeys as required.
Croft Surveying and Mapping was the first onsite, establishing features and terrain to underpin final road, building and glasshouse designs. We were involved in earthworks, machine control establishment and work as executed surveys. Boundary adjustments and easements were also part of CSM scope.
Rural Boundary Surveying takes Croft Surveying and Mapping to many parts of the New England and North West region. This includes finding Original Trigonometric Station “Number 3292” – near Nowendoc – and “New Technology” – high accuracy GPS.
Advances in technology have made crossing large distances quickly and accurately a reality. While Google Maps or SIX Maps provide an indication of property boundaries, the historical process of finding survey marks and monuments is paramount to reinstating boundaries. Large tracts of the New England and North West regions still hold original Crown Plans (c. 1860 – 1900’s) as their current survey plan.
